About the event

Yoga is often experienced as a personal practice, but the yoga tradition reminds us that we were never meant to practice entirely alone.

Join us for a special afternoon with Bob Butera of YogaLife Institute exploring the role that community, relationship, and belonging play in sustaining a meaningful yoga practice.

Drawing from Karma Yoga, Bhakti Yoga, Sangha, and the Bhagavad Gita, we’ll explore how service, devotion, friendship, mentorship, and shared responsibility can become part of the practice itself.

Through philosophy, reflection, and conversation, we’ll consider what changes when we begin to see our practice as an ecology, shaped not only by what we do individually, but by the people we learn from, practice beside, support, and are supported by.

This workshop is open to anyone interested in deepening their understanding of yoga philosophy and exploring how the teachings can live beyond the mat.
